Sytě modré vertikály ozařují matérii centrální kašny v zahradě Trojského zámku. Tato efemérní site-specific instalace za pomocí světelných linií strukturuje historickou hmotu pískovce a jejich přísně geometrická kompozice (pramenící z osově souměrné okolní zahradní architektury) kontrastuje s organickými barokními křivkami. Instalace v sobě snoubí časově různé symbolické manifestace pokroku. Kašna s prvky fontány historicky představovala symbol statusu a technologické inovace už od 16. století, přičemž umělé světlo (konkrétně elektrické) ztělesňovalo v 19. století ideu modernizace a vědecko-technologického pokroku. Jinou styčnou plochou se stává jakási nestabilita a neuchopitelnost zakoušeného výjevu. Pulzující světlo zde figuruje ve formě aluze vodních proudů běžně tryskajících z nádrže. Obdobně jako nám voda protéká mezi prsty, tak i světelná složka, jež opticky sublimuje v prostoru, uniká našemu vnímání a jasnému vymezení.
Jiná interpretační rovina pak operuje s ekologickým nábojem. Nové technologie (v současnosti především generativní modely umělé inteligence) extrahují přírodní zdroje (nejvíce diskutovaná je právě role vody) a akcelerují destruktivní logiku antropocénu. Kolektor tudíž můžeme vnímat i jako současného komentátora, který je ale situován v nadčasovém spojení minulosti a přítomnosti.

Deep blue verticals illuminate the material body of the central fountain in the gardens of Troja Chateau. This ephemeral site-specific installation uses lines of light to articulate the historical sandstone structure, whose strictly geometric composition (derived from the axial symmetry of the surrounding garden architecture) contrasts with the organic curvature of the Baroque forms. The installation weaves together temporally diverse symbolic manifestations of progress. The fountain, with its hybrid elements of a water feature and a sculptural basin, has historically represented a symbol of status and technological innovation since the 16th century. Artificial light (specifically electric light) embodied, in the 19th century, the very idea of modernization and scientific-technical advancement.
Another layer of the work lies in its inherent instability and elusiveness. The pulsing light operates as an allusion to the streams of water that would ordinarily gush from the basin. Much like water slipping through one’s fingers, the luminous element visually sublimating in space escapes our perception and defies clear definition. A further interpretative plane engages with an ecological resonance. New technologies (today especially generative models of artificial intelligence) extract natural resources (with water being one of the most discussed) and accelerate the destructive logic of the Anthropocene. The Collector can thus be perceived as a contemporary commentator, situated within a timeless intersection of past and present.
